      ENVIROCLEAN BIODIGESTER (EBD)

      100% Natural

100% harmless to people, animals, plumbing and the environment

      Available in 1kg & 25kg

      WHAT IS EBD?

EBD is a green alternative to waste disposal!

In nature all animal and vegetable matter is broken down and recycled into plant food by enzymes and bacteria.

EBD is a very select blend of natural bacteria and enzymes in powder form that uses this same principle to biodegrade animal and vegetable waste.

EBD is a sustainable, natural cleaning environmentally safe odour reducing treatment that is ideal for household, institutional and industrial application.

      APPLICATION

Used in pit latrines & septic tanks

Digests organic waste assuring easy and few pump outs of the pit latrines.

Waste levels reduce at least 6-8 cm per month when EBD is used regularly.

It increases the lifespan of pit latrines by more than 3 times

It reduces foul smells and flies in 12 hours e.g urinals

Used in management of Abbatoirs (slaughter houses) effluent

Used in management of tannery effluent

Used in management of Blocked drains &pipes

      Used in managing grease traps

Used in management of smells from animal houses (pig sties, zero grazing etc)

Used in the making of compost/Manure

      EBD IS SAFE

EBD is non poisonous and does not cause any disease in man or animals.

EBD creates no heat fumes, no boiling and does not produce foul odours or noxious gases as it digests waste.

EBD does not attack live tissue or inorganic materials.

EBD only attacks organic wastes like grease, hair, food particles, paper, cotton & sewage.

This makes EBD safe for people, plumbing and the environment.

      EBD IS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

EBD enables you to go GREEN and does not hurt the environment.

EBD has enzymes and bacteria that speed up the natural digestion of organic waste materials into water, carbon dioxide and mineral ash. This is the only process that recycles organic waste back to plant food.

EBD is 100% natural and is not harmful to children, pets or marine life.

EBD’s action is natural because it enhances nature’s ability to cope with man’s pollution.

EBD changes the waste particles into water, carbon dioxide and mineral ash that are then available for plant life.

EBD does not contain any acid, alkali, solvents, perfume or poisonous substances.

      EBD IS EFFECTIVE

Within an hour of dosing EBD onto the waste, the bacteria in EBD begin to eat their way into the waste. Each bacterium eats its own weight of waste every 60seconds and the bacteria double every 30 minutes and spread throughout the waste.

The bacteria produce enzymes that are specific for breaking down the type of waste that is available.

      EBD IS MULTIPURPOSE

EBD is used for residential and commercial applications

EBD is used for septic tanks

EBD is used for sewer pipes

EBD is used for pit latrines

      EBD is used for toilets

      EBD is used for urinals

EBD is used for sinks, bathtubs, showers and drains

EBD is used to remove pet odours such as cat litter bins and dog kennels

EBD is used to remove farm odours such as from pig sties & zero grazing

EBD is used to compost vegetable waste

      EBD IS ECONOMICAL

      1KG EBD treats a 4,00OL septic tank.

EBD reduces and liquefies solids and reduces the number of pump outs by 80%.

1KG EBD can be used for 100 drain treatments.

EBD eliminates the need to clean grease traps.

EBD eliminates odours, flies and the need to buy deodorant blocks for urinals.

EBD eliminates the need to buy dangerous chemicals thus your family and support staff are safe from injuries.

      EBD IS SUSTAINABLE

EBD adds beneficial microorganisms found in nature to your cleaning solutions and offers an innovative biodegradable product that reduces the environmental impact of cleaning.

      HOW EBD WORKS

When mixed with water, EBD immediately goes to work.

The enzymes in EBD are very fast and start breaking down waste on contact creating food for the bacteria.

EBD contains billions of bacteria and as they eat, they double in number every 30 minutes.

As they multiply, the bacteria produce enzymes that are specific for breaking down the type of waste that is available.

Each bacterium eats its own weight in waste every minute and best of all they never sleep.

Unrestricted by gravity they spread through the entire waste system devouring all the organic waste.

      TIPS FOR USING EBD

NEVER use other waste treatment products while using EBD.

NEVER use BLEACH & DISINFECTANTS while using EBD.

On multi storey buildings, start initial treatment at the lowest level and progress to the Top. Complete 5 day treatment on one floor before going to next highest.

EBD should be mixed with water and applied when no water will be drained for 6-8 hours. This allows the bacteria time to embed into the waste so they will not be washed away when water is drained again. When circumstances do not allow for 6-8hours of drain non use, simply mix the proper dosage with warm water (300C) and allow to stand for 40 minutes before pouring it down the drain. This will allow the bacteria time to wake up and be ready to start working on contact.

If blockage occurs after you have started using EBD, it is a sign EBD is detaching the waste from the pipes. Clear the blockage mechanically and continue treatment

      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How can such a small amount of EBD be effective in plumbing and sewer works?

There are billions of bacteria in each spoonful of EBD. Each one will eat its weight of waste every60 seconds.

They double in number every30 minutes and as they multiply they will spread throughout the entire drain/septic tank/pit latrine.

How long will it take to see results?

Some people notice results in a day or two. Almast everyone will see results in 1 to 3 weeks time. The time is determined by the composition of the waste.

Should the Toilet/Sink/Bathtub/Urinal be flushed with water after pouring in EBD?

DO NOT flush for 6-8 hours.

The enzymes and bacteria in EBD deposit on the waste coating the pipes/tank. In the following 6-8 hours, they embed themselves in the waste so that when the system is next flushed, they will not be washed away

Who will do the application of EBD?

EBD is so simple to apply you can do it yourself, family members or support staff

Does EBD really help a septic tank?

Most septic tanks in operation today are not functioning well and need frequent pumping out – this costs money! The septic tanks have a build-up of oils, fats, grease and Paper. EBD is very effective on these materials – it increases solids destruction so FEWER pumping outs are needed and thus money is saved. An average septic tank requires pumping out every three months @KSHS 30,000. EBD initial dose and maintenance dose will cost 25% of this

      Does EBD stop odours?

Yes. The bacteria in EBD consume the organic waste as their nutrient. The organic waste is then no longer present to produce odours. This applies to Septic tanks, animal houses, pit latrines, urinals, drains, slaughter houses and pet baskets.

Are chemicals more effective than EBD?

Gravity makes all chemicals run along the bottom. They cannot climb the side walls, horizontal or vertical pipes and tanks to remove waste because they flow through so quickly. The bacteria in EBD are live and will go anywhere there is food. They remove waste even where chemicals cannot reach

What affects negatively the performance of EBD?

Disinfectants and common cleaning agents containing bleach.

Mechanical objects in the pipes e.g. toys

What is the shelf life of EBD?

Several years if kept dry at 25 degrees centigrade

Why is repeat (maintenance) dosage required?

The population waste digesting bacteria in EBD cannot increase for ever. At some point the food will be depleted, build up of metabolic waste products, introduction of poisons, competition from other bacteria, changes in the environment. The waste digesting bacteria in EBD will then decrease, Regular additional doses of EBD need to be added to insure the waste digesting bacteria in EBD remain plentiful in the face of such tough competition.
